Healthy outlook for firm that is happy to mingle
A COUNTY DURHAM supply company has significantly increased its turnover since joining the region's largest business organisation.
First
Aid Today UK Ltd, based in Seaham, joined the North East Chamber of
Commerce (NECC) in December last year and has since benefited from some
excellent leads in their first three months of membership.
The
business has built a strong reputation since it launched in 2007,
providing First Aid training, First Aid kits and medical supplies,
assessments and policies.
Having attended several NECC networking events, Director Uel Readioff said: “Networking and meeting new businesses
is not something that everyone thrives on. However, as a proactive
member of NECC we are real self-promoters and love the buzz of meeting
new contacts. We’ve certainly seen the benefit of NECC’s networking
since joining the organisation at the end of last year.”
The
family-run company has been attracting new business opportunities by
offering workshops such as First Aid in the workplace, Paediatric, Food
Hygiene and Handling and Lifting.
Recent customers include
current NECC members Robinsons Removals of Darlington and Positive IT
of Durham. Mr Readioff has high hopes that the firm will see more
interest from networking events, adding: “We will certainly continue to
attend events throughout the year in the hope of gaining interest from
businesses across the North East.”
