The government-led Health, Work and Wellbeing initiative has launched a new “workplace wellbeing tool” to help employers evaluate the business case for improving workers’ health and wellbeing and offering advice tailored to their organisation.
The free online tool replaces an existing spreadsheet-based “business healthcheck tool”, which many employers found cumbersome and difficult to use.
With the latest tool, users can create unique profiles for all or part of their workforce, calculate the costs of ill health and absence, and benchmark costs and performance against similar businesses.
